Eleni Ralli, 5 Small Double-Reed Encounters
This piece explores the interaction between five distinct double-reed instruments from the oboe family. Each instrument presents a short story that reflects its unique personality, while the others listen, respond, or remain absorbed in their own world, seemingly indifferent. The work consists of five brief movements, each dedicated to the character of one instrument and its interaction – or lack thereof – with the others.
